Hello everyone,

This month we will be hearing from my friend and our very own, Danny Parada, he is the Director of Pastoral Care at our Hospital. In addition to that he is the pastors of a local congregation, travels as an evangelist, and a husband and father. Ladies are again invited to join us to hear these reports.

Danny was recently asked by some in his church to travel to a community near Mexico City to do a nine day evangelistic crusade, his response was “how bad is the drug cartel in that city” and the answer was “not too bad.”

So he said he would go, upon arrival he was told he would be counseling, and visiting from 8 am to 5 pm, then from 7 pm to 8:30 pm preaching the Gospel, and from 8:30 pm to 11 pm more counseling. He soon discovered that the community was under the control of some not so nice guys; his story will open your eyes to what is happening to our next door neighbors. This is an experience that would test your faith; you don’t want to miss this report!

Then we will hear from Pastor Bob Taylor, he is traveling to South Africa this summer to do outreach evangelism with the Oregon Adventist Men’s Choir. This will be a joint effort with the Men’s Choir from Romania and the Men’s Choir of South Africa. This is an awesome outreach for our Oregon men!
