<p align="justify">Hello brothers in Christ,</p>
<p align="justify"> I wanted to inform you that we are preparing to bring you another Pacific Coast Men’s Summit, to be held April 3-4-5, 2009 at the Twin Rocks Friends Camp, in Rockaway Beach, Oregon.</p>
<p align="justify"> This year is promising to be another great summit; we have invited Robert Vernon as our guest speaker. He served for 38 years with the Los Angeles Police Dept. and has shared Christ with many thousands around the world. He is currently the President of Point Man Ministries which trains police and military personnel on character qualities in all part of the world. He comes highly recommended from Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family. You will be very encouraged to hear Robert share from the Word with many illustrations from his police work.</p>
<p align="justify"> For our worship segment we have Scott Krippayne (a great piano player) and his buddy who plays many types of drums, coming to do the concert segment of the summit. These guys are fantastic and will bring a great spirit to the event. </p>
<p align="justify"> Also, we have Donald Cobb coming to open the Friday night and Saturday night meetings, Donald is an accomplished singer and truly loves the Lord.</p>
<p align="justify"> Besides all of this we have a fellow joining us from Splat Experience, who is a fantastic artist! He will create an artistic master piece both Friday evening and Saturday evening on stage. This guy is an amazing man of God; he will move you I promise.</p>
<p align="justify"> All of this plus a great a seafood dinner Friday evening, meals on Saturday and Sunday morning, plus wonderful snacks during the weekend, great fellowship and lodging with others from around the Northwest.</p>

<p align="justify">It has been two months since the first Pacific Coast Men’s Summit and only ten more months till our next summit. The focus at last months prayer breakfast was “what is next for the Christian men in our county” the challenge was to pray and then pray some more. I hope those of you that attended are doing just that, because it is foundational for God to send the Holy Spirit to our county for the revival we need here!</p>
<p align="justify">Our guest speaker this month will be Pastor Jerry Baker from the Netarts Friends Church; he has been the pastor for twenty eight years.
He will be sharing a message on revival in our midst and how he envisions it. You won’t want to miss this man of God share from his heart! There will also be great fellowship and a few surprises that will be a blessing to you! Our meetings are held in the basement of the church, you must drive all the way around behind the church to see our vehicles and the entry doors into the fellowship hall. </p>
<p align="justify"> Let’s fill the place men, invite your son(s), fathers, grand fathers, friends and neighbors to join you! May God bless each one of you!</p>

<p align="left">We now have some memories uploaded to our website at www.pcmsummit.org. Visit the website to see the video and slideshow of the Pacific Coast Men's Summit. After a few weeks of catching up and overcoming some technical difficulties, we have finally updated the PCMS website to include the <a href="http://www.pcmsummit.org/video.html">videos and slides</a>. </p>
<p align="left">We are also happy to announce that we are planning a second summit for next year on April 3-5, 2009 once again held at the Twin Rock's Friends Camp. We are firming up the details and once they are confirmed, we will be sending out information via the mailing list and the website to insure you are kept up to date. Please continue to pray about the summit and those who are working to bring this back to the coast next year.</p>
<p align="left">For those men in the Tillamook County area, we will continue to meet and update on the PCMS progress at our regularly scheduled Tillamook County Men for Christ breakfast and fellowship meetings held on the first Saturday of each month at the Seventh Day Adventist church on 1st Street. The leadership is finishing the details in preparation for the summit. Also want to remind those who have not seen the newsletter updates that they are archived on our website <a href="http://www.pcmsummit.org/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/archive/pcms" target="_blank">HERE</a>.</p>
<p align="left">We still have space available if your friends or family want to attend. Our phone and e-mail have been down due to a technical problem but it is now back online. If you have any last minute questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. </p>

<p align="left">Less than a week to go before the beginning of the Pacific Coast Men's Summit. Some men have recently signed up so I have decided to add to the beginning of the news letter and leave the previous items below so they can catch up on the mailing. We have had 10 more men sign up since the last mailing on 3/26/08. That is awesome! We still have room for quite a few more men. So be talking to your friends and relatives to join in with all of us for the experience of a lifetime.</p>
<p align="left"><u><strong>HOPE 107.9 FM (KHPE)
Announces Winner of Contest</strong></u> - Yes today was the big day for listeners of the KHPE Hope Radio in Albany had their drawing for two tickets to the PCM Summit along with two nights stay at the Shilo in Tillamook. Contratulations to <strong>Brandon Kilpatrick</strong> who won the drawing for two to attend the PCM Summit. Brandon and a friend (he is still talking to a few friends to bring) will be enjoying the summit compliments of HOPE 107.9, Shilo Suites and the Pacific Coast Men's Summit. Check out the <a href="http://www.hope1079.com/" title="HOPE 107.9" target="_blank">HOPE 107.9</a> website to see all the details.</p>
<p align="left"><strong><u>Twin Rocks Last Minute Details</u></strong> - Here is some information from Twin Rocks to help you prepare for the summit: </p>
<p><strong>What to Bring:</strong> Individuals attending camps or conferences at Twin Rocks are asked to furnish their own towels, pillows and sleeping bags or bed linens -- unless staying in Pacific Woods Lodge. Lodge residents are furnished with these items (though asked to make their own beds).</p>
<p>Campers/conferees should bring to Twin Rocks standard vacation fare, such as: camera and film, swimsuit, flashlights, toiletries, notebook and pencil, Bible, stout shoes, coats and multiple changes of clothes. Please remember that on the Oregon Coast the weather can be windy or rainy, even during summer months. </p>
<p> Twin Rocks Friends Camp prohibits pets (dogs, cats, etc…) hunting, fireworks, firearms, ammunition, and explosives at the camp.</p>
<p>As stated above, we are winding down and will be spending the last few days in preparation for the summit and to receive God's word. The items below this paragraph are from the last news letter but informational for all. <p align="left">Below are some last minute reminders for the Pacific Coast Men's Summit. Some of these have been previously stated but we want to make sure you know this information. This along with our mailing list continues to grow so we also want our new subscribers to be aware of this as well. So bear with us as we run down the list of last minute items. </p>
<p align="left"><strong><u>Special Dietary Needs for Summit</u></strong> - We have only a few days left for those who have special dietary needs for the summit. If you have a medical reason or just eat vegetarian, we would like to know so we can forward this on to Twin Rocks in preparation for the Summit. So please let us know (if you haven't already) so we can be sure to accommodate any special dietary needs for you. The absolute last day would be Monday, 3/31/08 to get the information to us. Simply send an e-mail to <a href="mailto:register@pcmsummit.org">register@pcmsummit.org</a> or you can call 503-298-4107 to leave a message.</p>

We are operating a tight budget and need to pay expenses quickly regarding the summit speakers, entertainers and the camp. <strong>So please don't delay and pay today!</strong></p>
<p align="left"><strong><u>Car Pooling with help parking congestion</u> </strong>- Just a reminder that Twin Rocks Friends Camp is just that, a camp. They do have ample parking but it will be tight. So if possible, please remember to car pool with friends or relatives. This will save on the logistics of parking. </p>
<p align="left">Twin Rocks Friends Camp - As previously stated, Twin Rocks is a camp and as such, please be prepared for this type of living. The cabins are nicely finished with running water and electricity in all the cabins and rooms. done as final preparations are falling into place. The leadership team has been working hard to prepare for this summit and make sure this is a wonderful experience. However, we are not out of the woods yet. We are still about 11% below meeting
the expenses for the summit. This means we still need more men to attend and help cover expenses. If you know someone
who needs to go, please don't hesitate to contact him and get him signed up.
Also pray for Rick Kingham, Don Francisco and Mike Banta as they prepare to make the journey to Tillamook County that God will keep a hedge of protection around them and their families during the travels. Also pray for all participants that their experience will be richly rewarding as we gather to hear God's Word through the ministries of Rick Kingham, Don Francisco and Mike Banta. Please pray for good weather as we get closer to the summit. <p align="left">Hello men,</p>
<p align="left">Time is getting nearer. The PCM Summit is less than three weeks away! We are busy preparing for the event and pray that every man attending will have a safe journey to and from the Summit. We still have space available for men who want to attend this wonderful time of fellowship and hearing from the Lord. Please encourage other men in your lives to attend the Summit.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>REGISTRATION</strong> - We have received several names of men who will be attending the summit without the registration information. We will be attempting to collect this information prior to the summit for several reasons. We want to have printed name tags available to summit participants so the checking will be streamlined. We also want to know where you will be staying so we can easily show you to your room. Having all the registration information will definitely help during this process.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>SHIRTS</strong> - As stated in my previous message, we now have available to purchase shirts for the summit. These are available in two styles and can be seen on our website <a href="http://www.pcmsummit.org/shirts.html">here</a>. They are only available as a pre-sale item as we will not be printing extra shirts to sell at the summit. So if you are interested in purchasing a shirt, please contact us at <a href="mailto:register@pcmsummit.org">register@pcmsummit.org</a> to find out more information. We will be placing the order on Monday so you have a limited time to get this completed. </p>
<p align="left"><strong>LODGING</strong> - There have been a few questions regarding lodging for the summit. I would like to remind all summit participants that Twin Rocks is a camp and as such, has lodging of a camp setting. There are very nice bunks in each room but you need to bring your own bedding as the bunks are very nice but no bedding is included. I have attached some pictures for you to review the facilities below:</p>

<p align="left"><strong>MEN'S WORSHIP COHORT</strong> - We are still looking for more than a few good men. The worship group is looking for some men to help with singing a joyful noise, playing a pleasing instrument or just coming to worship the Lord. Practice is Sunday, March 30th from 1-4pm at First Christian Church in Tillamook. Pastor Dean Crist will be organizing this event. </p>
