George was born and raised in Tillamook. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 19. He has been a leader in various Christian ministries since 1988 when he founded Tillamook County Rally, an evangelistic outreach to teens in Tillamook County, which continued until 1998.
In 1992 he was prompted by the Lord to begin a ministry to men and founded Tillamook County Men for Christ. This ministry has provided a gathering point for men from around the county since its beginning. The goal is to get to know one another, pray together, fellowship together, learn Christian truths, fund various missions’ projects, and encourage men to go on short term mission projects. Monthly meetings are held the first Saturday each month for breakfast, prayer, and fellowship.
George is convinced that the Pacific Coast Men’s Summit, which is sponsored by Tillamook County Men for Christ is another way to bring men together and proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ in the lives of men. Guys don’t miss this great opportunity!
